Refund Policy
Our policy
Every subscription to EPR Rates comes with a 14-day refund window. Within 14 days of any subscription payment — the first payment or a renewal — you can ask for a full refund of that payment, with no exceptions and no conditions. After those 14 days the annual fee for that term is not refundable, and there is no pro-rata refund for the unused part of a term.
The same window applies to the one-off report: within 14 days of that payment you can ask for a full refund, with no exceptions and no conditions — having already received and read the PDF is not an exception.
You can cancel the renewal at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period of your subscription and prevents any further payments from being taken; your access continues until the end of the term you have already paid for. To cancel, email hello@eprrates.com, or use the cancellation link on your invoice where one is provided.
Before a subscription starts we tell you in writing what it covers, what it costs and that it
renews annually. What you are buying is visible for free on this site first: the current rate
tables and sample.csv are open to everyone under CC BY 4.0, so you can judge the data
before you pay for the full fields, the history and the change alerts.
Statutory rights come first
Where mandatory law gives a buyer a refund or withdrawal right that cannot be waived, that right applies and overrides this policy. In the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract; that right does not apply once the buyer has expressly agreed to immediate performance and has started downloading, streaming, using or benefiting from the product. EU distance-selling rules protect consumers, and we sell to business customers (see our Terms of Service) — but where a buyer does hold such a right, we honour it.
How to request a refund
Our Merchant of Record processes all our orders, provides customer service and handles returns. A refund request is therefore assessed under that Merchant of Record's own refund policy as well as this one; the statutory rights set out above apply in either case.
Write to hello@eprrates.com, quoting the invoice reference.
Billing errors
A duplicate charge, a charge after a cancellation, or a charge for something you did not order is a billing error, not a refund request. Tell us or our Merchant of Record and it is corrected and refunded.
