What this scheme is
Producer responsibility organisations (OZV, market-negotiated) — Competing producer responsibility organisations (organizácie zodpovednosti výrobcov, OZV) authorised by the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic under the Waste Act; NATUR-PACK and ENVI-PAK are two of them.
Slovakia has no statutory packaging tariff. A producer that first makes packaging or packaged goods available on the Slovak market carries the extended producer responsibility obligations, and the Waste Act lets it discharge them through an authorised producer responsibility organisation, an OZV, under a service contract. The organisations compete for clients and the price sits in that contract: neither of the two organisations cited on this page publishes a price list at all, and one of them states openly that what it charges producers moves with the prices on the secondary raw materials market. This site therefore lists no per-kg rate rows for Slovakia: the Slovak facts it can carry are the obligations, the register, and how the OZV contract route works.
