Croatia WEEE waste management fee 2026 (FZOEU)
Croatia's 2026 waste management fee for electrical and electronic equipment rate is 0.30 EUR/kg. Basis: Waste management fee for electrical and electronic equipment · Waste management fee for electrical and electronic equipment
How fees are set
Waste management fee for EEE (FZOEU) — Statutory waste management fee paid to the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund under Uredba NN 137/2024, Annex III.
Croatia funds WEEE collection through the single state fund FZOEU, and prices it more coarsely than any other country in this dataset: Annex III of the ordinance names all six Directive categories and then charges one unit fee across all of them. The fee is transitional. Article 10 fixes it at 0.30 EUR/kg and sets both the eco-modulation coefficient and the register-reporting coefficient to 1 until the Fund adopts the decision foreseen in Article 3(5), which Article 10(4) required within three months of the ordinance entering into force; when that decision lands, both the unit fee and the two coefficients can change, which makes Croatia the WEEE line most likely to move. The same ordinance article carries the Croatian tyre, vehicle, oil, battery and packaging fees, so one gazette article covers three of this dataset's streams.

| Waste management fee for electrical and electronic equipment Code ALL-UNS-ANY | 0.3 EUR/kg | One single unit fee for all electrical and electronic equipment. Annex III of the ordinance lists the six categories of Directive 2012/19/EU by name - heat exchange equipment; screens, monitors and equipment containing screens larger than 100 cm2; lamps; large equipment; small equipment; small IT and telecommunication equipment - and then charges one rate across all of them, so the category slot is ALL rather than a single category. Unit fee JNEE under Article 10(1) point 6. Effective fee = JNEE x mass x kE x kR, with the eco-modulation coefficient kE = 1 and the register-reporting coefficient kR = 1 until the Fund's decision under Article 3(5), so the effective rate is 0.30 EUR/kg. No household/professional split is drawn, so the use slot is UNS. | 2025-01-01 | narodne-novine.nn.hr ↗ 2026-08-26 official |
