BATRIBOX
BATRIBOX — Approved eco-organisme for the French REP Batteries filière, categories 1-5, approval period 2025-08-18 to 2030-12-31 (formerly Screlec, renamed January 2025).
BATRIBOX is one of three approved producer responsibility organisations for the French battery stream, covering all five categories of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 — portable, light means of transport, starting/lighting/ignition, industrial and electric vehicle. It was called Screlec until January 2025. Its 2026 barème prices each line on three axes: the statutory category, the battery chemistry and, where the scheme chooses to split it, a weight band. Most lines are charged per kilogram; the light-means-of-transport category is charged per unit, in six weight bands from under 1 kg to 25 kg. Producers placing fewer than 10 000 portable batteries a year, each under 1 kg, may instead use a single simplified per-unit rate. One eco-modulation applies across all categories: a product that has been through preparation for re-use, repurposing or remanufacturing earns a bonus of 100% of the corresponding base rate.

ecosystem
ecosystem — Approved eco-organisme for the French REP Batteries filière, categories 1-5, approval period 2025-08-18 to 2030-12-31; merged with Corepile in summer 2025.
ecosystem is one of three approved producer responsibility organisations for the French battery stream, covering all five categories of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542. Corepile and ecosystem merged during the summer of 2025 to run batteries and electrical equipment together; Corepile no longer operates independently and membership enquiries go to ecosystem. Alone among the French battery schemes, ecosystem publishes an official eco-participation code for every line — PAP for portable, MTL for light means of transport, SLI for starting/lighting/ignition, IND for industrial and VEH for electric vehicle — alongside an internal product reference and a published net-weight band. Amounts are per kilogram except the light-means-of-transport category, which is per unit in four weight bands. The electric-vehicle lines are published twice, once for category L vehicles and once for category M, N or O, at the same amount.

Recycler Mon Véhicule (RMV)
Recycler Mon Véhicule (RMV) — Approved eco-organisme for the French REP Batteries filière, category 5 (electric-vehicle batteries) only, approval period 2025-08-18 to 2030-12-31.
Recycler Mon Véhicule is the third approved French battery eco-organisation and is approved for category 5 only — electric-vehicle batteries. Its producer guide publishes two tables side by side for 2025 and 2026: a financial contribution in euro per kilogram placed on the market, and a réfaction in euro per kilogram collected and treated. The réfaction is a rebate for producers who take on the collection or treatment of their own batteries; because its denominator is kilograms collected rather than kilograms sold, the two tables cannot be netted off line by line. Five chemistries are priced: Li-NMC, LFP, NCA, NCMA and NiMH. The 2026 contribution is roughly three times the 2025 one across every chemistry, while the réfaction is unchanged. Renault sas also holds an individual-system approval for category 5, running to 2027-12-31, but publishes no barème.

Same code, different scheme
France has more than one approved scheme, and 18 fee codes are priced by more than one of them in the same unit. Those are directly comparable — same category, same chemistry, same band, same unit — so the gap below is a real choice, not an artefact. 2 of them are priced identically by every scheme that lists them. The spread runs from 0% to 106%.
